As Technical Director at digital production studio Pirata, Ade headed up the team that built Team GB’s new digital platform for the London 2012 Olympics.
Working closely with the British Olympic Association, we delivered a cutting edge website and mobile app where followers of Team GB could keep up to date with all the latest news, stats and medals, all live as it happened.
Summer 2012 was a great success for Team GB, and the website and app were hugely popular, seeing over 10 million visits during the Olympics, regularly serving over 2000 concurrent users.
